WOR'k'SHIP

We are transition from one season to the next as we leave a season of Elevation to a season of WorKship.   In the past season of elevation many of us dealt with stretching and testing in our: health, finances, relationships, and even our character.  As God allowed Job to be tested, so we were as the body of Christ.  Through the shifting of elevation, the moment of lack, ailments, strife, proved our trust in God.  At times we cried, praise, were silent, but the change in elevation was bringing wholeness.  It seemed like death would overtake us, but it was the change in altitude and new dimension God was establishing in our lives.

God has established new blessings through the hardship of finances, relationships, health, so that we can now handle the heavier load.  There is work to do.  If you struggled with any of these and trust in God was built, get ready He has or is about to increase you!  In the midst of the increase WORK comes with it.  In the year 2016, understanding the number 6 denotes work or worship.  There will be an abundance of what was lack in your life, but God gave you the Grace to go through.  In Leviticus chapter 25 the Lord is speaking to Moses about the year of Jubilee and instructions to the people about the land in verse 18-22.

“Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety. And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety. And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:  Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.  And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.”

With the abundance just as Joseph used wisdom, we must be mindful with abundance of finances to save twenty percent, because there will come when there will be shortage.  God has promoted or elevated you because you were faithful to keep His commandments.  The playing field has been established and for some quickly expanding.  Remember when you graduate to a new level it’s exciting but there are new challenges and adverse situations.  As it becomes business don’t let this season of promotion, take the worship or intimacy you built through the hardship away from God, intimacy brought you here and will keep you!  We are quick to forget why after the sixth year God remind us in Deuteronomy 31:10-11

“And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,  When all Israel is come to appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.”

So we do not forget to continue to trust God with the abundance as we did with the lack.  We must continue with our first notion to seek Him in this new dimension how to operate and function.  We must worship Him and not get overwhelmed in the new abundance that we become chaotic, stagnant, and weighed down.  As we continue with a posture of prayer, worship, and His word the we will be able to take dominion over the abundance with the same spirit we took dominion with the lack. Zechariah 4:6

So when you fill the pull to work, stop, and start to worship and His Spirit will give you wisdom from above.
