G.O.!
Light of
the World
In a recent discussion, someone stated that all sickness, troubles, woes in our lives are as a result of sin. In my heart and spirit the BLIND man that encounter Jesus came to mind. Often, we are condemned not by the world but super-spiritual religious people and disciples of God that say, God has this person sinned or their parents?
The passage says, As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. John 9:1-3
I wonder how this blind man must have felt? I mean, he has never seen the world, his parents, only darkness, since his birth. How would you feel hearing not seeing, touching not seeing, smelling not seeing, or tasting not seeing? I am not sure in reality if this man was more advantageous than most of us. For faith comes by hearing versus most desire to see.

My reply to the question of your divorce, sickness, financial woes, injustice, mistreatment, or whatever is the same reply as Jesus, this is so the works of God might be displayed!
Wow!
Are you excited the glory of God is about to be revealed through the cancer,
financial struggles, injustice, and even yes, your divorce! God always desires to reveal His power and
might to the world.
This
instance in scripture also tells us that sometimes the obstacle you’re facing
is a G.O.! It’s a God Obstacle! It’s not man made, it’s God made! No man, woman, king can move it only God,
because He desires glory from it. The
good news is, you’re not in sin, and there is a tremendous miracle en route.
Oh
yes, I said it, miracle! Why? Because
doctors are baffled, financial advisors abandoned you, a spouse’s words were empty...
My friend the hand, words, purposes of the Lord never confuse Him,
forsake you, or are left unfilled.
God
has a miracle to honor you for your faithfulness and bring others to the family of
God. Can you imagine this man blind
since birth? The entire town knew that
he had been blind. This was a few day or
years, but his entire life. He wasn’t a
boy because the scripture called him a man.
Man meaning that he was beyond bar mitvah age (12-13) an age for separation
into his own household.
My
friend I’m here to tell you today the Lord is here to separate you from your
lifetime of blindness. Oh, you may say
your case is special. Here is a
reminder, passage states no man (woman) had ever been healed from blindness
from birth until Jesus came that day (John 9:32).
Let your faith arise! It’s not sin, but your it, is ready for Jesus to say go
G.O. to the situation that has taken temporary residence in your life!
Why
has God taken so long? The same reason Jesus waited with the blind man. There has been documentation, encounters with
community, evidence of the obstacle that no man can refute. When a multitude knows of your temporary ailment
God can turn on the light. Huh?
Sickness,
financial woes, cancer, divorce all appear dark & gloomy until God turns on
the light. The prerequisite for a great
multitude. How is this true? The Samaritan woman affected a whole town,
man at the pool of Bethesda was after 38 years, woman with the issue of blood
was twelve years and another instance of eighteen. The platform:
3. Evidence of ailment (Time)
The
answer is, light of the world (John 9:5).
God desires to light up a dark world. His word is the light in the church
that is a lamp unto our feet and path.
Wait! The temporary ailment will be annihilated by the hand of God shed’s
light to the world! Go doesn’t need
our lights in the church, He needs our lights for the world! So they too can come
to Christ. So my friend hold on, get
ready for Jesus to say go G.O. and manifest His glory in your life today!
