Courageous is Your name! Don’t be a Worrier, be a Warrior with Christ! How strange, we can leave a tremendous event or service and suddenly be discouraged.  Yet we are reminded how Elijah left a tremendous service where he performed miracles, converted hearts, and advanced the kingdom.  Yet, found himself in trepidation and despair from threatening words of Jezebel. 1 Kings 18-19

Abruptly, on Monday our sight shifts from powerful to pungent.  By Tuesday, our outlook much like Elijah, isolated, dejected, and without hope, as we sing, “woe is me.”   My friend, we need to shift to a heavenly perspective!

Some of us have sight, some of us have vision, but God desires we have perspective.  Sight is an earthly outlook, vision is personality (call) outlook, but perspective is the overview from Heaven.

Sight causes us to worry, constantly.  Worry about job loss, worry about divorce, worry we’ll never get pregnant, worry about bankruptcy, worry, worry, worry that we will wrestle ourselves to the mat without any assistance from the enemy.  How many of those thoughts have every come to fruition? Zero!  On the other hand, vision causes us to rationalize through our limited view.  Our tendency is to mix rationale with the word of God.  Perhaps, we see from our past experiences instead of Heaven’s Protocol to deliver

My friend as God told Joshua let me speak to you, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is WITH you wherever you go.” Josh 1:9

God repeated this to Joshua three times in verses six, seven, and nine.  Remember God is with you!  Do be a worrier, be a warrior with Heaven’s P.R.O.T.O.C.O.L.

My friend Paul later tells us, Don’t worry about ANYTHING; instead, pray about EVERYTHING; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about. Phil 4:6;

So if you worry, quickly remember Paul says,
1.      Pray about EVERYTHING
2.      Tell God
3.      Thank Him
4.      Fix your mind on good things
5.      Meditate on whatever is lovely and brings peace

My friend you are not a worrier, and beyond a Warrior, you are an absolute WINNER with Christ!  So, my brother and sister remember when worry knocks at your door remember P.R.O.T.O.C.O.L.  Then Pray, Tell God, Thank God, Fix your ears to Heaven, because you are COURAGEOUS! Take comfort Heaven’s is to invested to see your demise but will reveal His promises!
