It's ALREADY IN You!

This picture is comical but an intriguing profound truth to it. Who we are may remain dormant as a dormat for seasons when we choose to assimilate to those around us instead of being our unique self. You see, "your greatest self has been waiting your whole life, don't make it wait any longer." Dr. Steve Maraboli

God sees what is already in us. Do we see what is in us? While people survey our past or present God is looking at our future self.  God looks at the film strip of our life seeing the finish product, bidding us to that expected end.

The question is how do we get to the expected end?  I'm glad you asked. Charles Spurgeon said, "nearness to God brings likeness to God. The more you see(k) God the more of God will be seen in you." Spending time with God is like a windstorm that clears the dirt and debris unveiling His treasure in us.

We all encounter difficult seasons in our life. One of the principles I learned, don't  let it define you, you determine what God desires to teach you, reveal Him in you, or be a witness for Him.

Whether it's sickness, loss, or success, it's not until death but His glory!  In the midst, our unwavering disposition reveals whose we are. It rubs off on everything & everyone around you.

As I was pulling weeds one evening I uncovered this larva, but it's too early in the process to be uncovered. Why? It's not fully developed and predators can attack it. God showed me three stages: covered, captivity, and capacity. Huh? God develops us we are covered or hidden. Really the appeal of larva, uh, I'll pass, so He keeps us covered until the place fills like captivity.  The place you've been developed in is uncomfortable because it can no longer contain your capacity.  That's when we begin to burst at the seams to the place where potential becomes reality.  This happens when we SEEK God He:

Shines His light to refine
Encourages us to Equip
Enlightens us to Empower
Kings for His kingdom

When we get FULL of God, God fulfills His purpose for our life. Remember Moses, Joseph, David, Noah, and biblical character only required life to reveal what was already in them.  Joseph got full it pushed him out of the pit, then out of  Potipher's house, then out of the prison before Pharaoh.  God's fullness is what reveals, expands, and elevates us. Stop being full of you and start being full of God!  So when life pushes on you, get ready to push out God's purposes for your life.  You cannot purchase your gifts, talents, etc., SEEK God, and allow Him to unlock what's ALREADY IN YOU!
