As a dog returns to its vomit,
so fools repeat their folly.
Really? Perhaps you only see this as someone that has only had an
addiction. But a life or routine without faith lacks freedom. A fool
in bible days emphasizes the absence of God. How often do we leave
God out of our affairs? Whether we’re going shopping, doctor’s office,
school, or out for fun, do we invite God into the adventure? God is unleashing new methodologies, creativity, we in turn MUST release old habits. Win the lottery, not if you never play.....
In D.C.,
this past weekend the itinerary schedule slated us for the African
Museum. God has a way of wrecking our plans for the better.
Eventually in the huddle our itinerary shifted our caravan to the National
Mall. During our visit we were able to share the Lord in various ways
with two ladies from New Zealand and a family from Michigan. Granted we may only
see them again in Heaven only God orchestrated our encounter that day.
Prov 16:9 says,
We should
make plans—counting on God to direct us.
Many
think about, talk about, but the bible says we walk by faith, not talk by
faith. Have you ventured to explore avenues to your dream, business,
health? Talk is cheap, walk is expensive, but the dividends are marvelous
darling! Do you have the basic wake up, get kids ready, drop off, head to work,
pick kids up, cook dinner, just to repeat again the next 51 weeks? My
friend that is like a dog returning to vomit. Stability is great freedom
is your birthright. Freedom to trust God to intertwine the dream within
your daily routine. If we never make plans, we cannot count on God to
direct us.
All my
life I desired to produce a saxophone CD. Finally, encountered people
gifted and talented to fulfill that. Small steps combined make great
things happen! From that first album we now are compiling the third. If I
continued to talk, instead of walk the album would still be a
thought.
My friend
God purchased your FREEDOM at Calvary and planted dreams, businesses, books,
paintings, on the inside. Most never escape bondage because they cannot
handle freedom. Freedom to go off script, be the first, or sound
silly. God told me to purchase a home, three years ago, I prayed for a year,
began looking after six months, and God miraculous furnished finances for
downpayment, etc., God is ready to place the downpayment, but we have to
make plans.

I challenge you, if it’s looking for a college to attend, researching how to
write a best-seller, or open up a restaurant…"Don't expect average
thinking people to understand above average dreams," write the plan. God
is ready to BREAKTHROUGH when we BREAKOUT!
